Have feathers, will travel.
Toni Can Can – the diva turkey with a cause – is on a mission. She’s taking her spokesbird job for the St. Mary’s/Westside Food Bank Alliance on the road, hoping to inspire some charitable giving from coast to coast and beyond.
But since turkeys aren’t allowed to get drivers licenses (their feet have a hard time reaching the pedals), Toni is hoping you can help her get out and see the world. Or, at least the backyard.
“I’ll go anywhere you go,” says Toni. “A family vacation, a hike in the mountains, or just a trip to the store. Or, put me in a box – I can travel cheap! – and ship me somewhere exotic like Paris…or Kentucky!”
Wherever Toni Can Can goes, snap a picture and send it to travels@firstfoodbank.org. Everyone who enters is automatically eligible for a drawing in the summer of 2007 to win four round-trip tickets anywhere U.S. Airways flies! One second place winner will receive two round-trip tickets!
